Lynn Lohier is an emerging South Florida artist, born in Stamford, Connecticut and raised in Miami. She received her B.F.A.in Art with a specialization in Studio Art from Barry University in Miami, Florida. A first generation American, inspired by her Haitian family filled with artists she developed a passion for art at an early age. Lynn creates portraits of African American women that she admires and respects, hoping to capture the essence of their character. Lynn’s goal as an artist is to empower women of color and positively influence society’s views of people of color.
